Kevin Prentiss - 5-9 150, 4.4, Hinds CC (Warren Central, Vicksburg, Ms): Number 1 WR in the Juco ranks. Consensus 1st Team Juco All-American. Rated a 9.50 by Jeff Whitaker Recruiting.

Kevin Cooper - 6-4 200, 4.4, Northwest CC (South Panola, Batesville, Ms): A member of The Clarion-Ledger's Dandy Dozen his senior year in high school. Rated a 9.50 by Jeff Whitaker Recruiting, which means he has Major College Star potential.

James Jones - 6-1 165, 4.4, Hinds CC. Signed with MSU last Feb., but did not complete the junior college academic requirements.

Brad Elmore - 6-4 305, Ricks, ID, JC: From Paola, KS. Lettered 4 years in high school while playing OL and DL.

Sam Gregg (Will Walk on) - 6-4 285, 5.2, Qualified, Amory, MS. Second team all-state his senior year.

Garth Henry - 6-3 300, 5.0, Copiah-Lincoln CC. Rated a 9.25 by Jeff Whitaker's Deep South Recruiting Guide. Rated the 22th best player in the Mississippi Juco ranks. Craig Moore - 6-3 315, 5.0, Copiah-Lincoln CC (Immokalee, Fla): Rated a 9.75 by Jeff Whitaker Recruiting. He was placed at Co-Lin by Miami. The Clarion-Ledger rates him the 2nd best Juco OL in the state of Mississippi.

Anthony Kapp - 6-4 315, 5.0, Transfer from Virginia Tech. Will have two years of eligibility left at Miss State. Rated the 17th best prospect in the New England area his senior year in high school, according to SuperPrep

Randy Thomas - 6-4 285, 4.9, Copiah-Lincoln CC (East Point, Ga): Considered the 21st best offensive linemen in the Juco ranks this year by J C Grid-Wire.. 32" Vertical Leap. 2-time Miss. Juco All-State. The Clarion-Ledger rates him the best Juco OL in the state of Mississippi.

Floyd Womack - 6-4 332, 5.8, Only needs 1 point on his ACT to qualify, Cleveland-East Side, MS. Chose Miss State over Auburn and Ole Miss. Considered one of the top OL in Miss.

Ellis Wyms - 6-5 230, 4.6, Should qualify, Indianola, MS.
