FACING THE SUN

      Think of the word "sunflower".  There must be a double meaning to their name.  These huge flower faces that tilt toward the heavenly light also look like the sun, reflecting in it's golden glory.

       This row of sunflowers was  an inspiration to me the year they bloomed so magnificently.  The row went from east to west.  Sunflower blossoms always face the sun.  Morning to night they shift their gaze from east to west, always fixed on the direct source of light.

     Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus so that as we look AT him, we begin to look LIKE him.
